Currently serving as Cupertino Vice Mayor, Liang Chao has spent years serving our community—from the Cupertino Union School District Board to the Cupertino City Council, where she has served since 2018, including as Mayor in 2025.

As Liang completes her second City Council term in 2026, she hopes to continue serving our community on the Foothill-De Anza Community College District Board—bringing her experience in education, technology, public finance, and accountable local leadership to the colleges that serve our region.

Trustee Area 4 includes the entire attendance areas of Cupertino High School and Lynbrook High School, and most of the attendance area of Monta Vista High School.
