Retired: Enter “Retired” for occupation.
Homemaker: Enter “Homemaker” for occupation.
Self-employed/Freelancer: Provide your occupation (for example, “Freelance Writer”) and the name of your business or “no separate business name.”
Private investor only: Enter “Private Investor: stocks and bonds” for occupation. Enter “None” for employer.

Campaign-finance disclosure: California law requires campaign committees to keep certain contributor information. For contributions of $25 or more, campaign records must include the contributor’s full name and street address. If cumulative contributions reach $100 or more, individual contributors must also provide occupation and employer information. Information required to be reported may appear on publicly available campaign-finance filings. See our Privacy Policy.
